The Bega Squash club was formed in 1976. The club came in to being after Peter and Val Eaton moved to Bega and had the courts built at North Bega. In 1997 the club moved to its current location at the Bega RSL Country Club at Tarrraganda.

Club Bega as owners and managers of the courts provide support and assistance to Bega Squash Club through affiliated membership providing Club Bega membership benefits to Bega Squash Club players and via sponsorship from their Club Development Fund.

Everyone is welcome on to come along on to our social night each Monday from around 5 pm there are usually members at the courts having a social or practice hit.

Competitions are run 3 times a year, Autumn, Winter and Spring and run for 10 weeks, with semis and finals played in the 11th week. 

Club matches are played on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday commencing at 6.00 pm.  You must be over 15 years of age (unless you meet special criteria)

How much does it cost to play?

Competition Fees are currently $65.00 per competition and Squash Club membership is paid yearly.

Comp fees cover court hire for the competition including finals matches, the club provides balls and scoresheets, however you will need your own racquet.  Membership covers administration costs.  You are responsible for your own sports insurance.

Fees are payable during the first week of each comp.  The Treasurer will be at the courts each night of the first week of each competition and fees must be finalised prior to taking the court in Week 2. You may need to pay your fees to a Committee person if the Treasurer is absent.
